Triggers
Are they getting the best of you?
The month of May is not offering us a gentle flow of energy. Energies are pouring in.
It is like huge balls of high frequency hitting us. The energetic upgrade for the planet and humanity comes with side effects. These aren’t the same for everyone. Symptoms and the intensity of them vary.
I am not diving into the physical effects many of us experience due to the influx of energies. Even though these physical effects can definitely lead to or contribute to what I wish to address: triggers.
The month of May generously offers triggers. Of course, triggers are of all times. And then there are times when the intensity of the energy offers even more triggers. We are in the midst of such a pocket.
Triggers can come in many forms.
Maybe you have a friend who doesn’t even find the time or energy to put a smiley to the message you sent, or who takes forever to answer your messages or phone calls.
Or a friend who sighs and rolls his / her eyes when you talk your truth.
Then there are the people, close to you, who are so absorbed in their own lives that they don’t even think about sending you a message on your birthday or for that big event in your life.
Or there is a close family member, who – even after having been handed several suggestions for a birthday present – shows up empty handed.
You may get triggered in traffic or by the person skipping the line in the supermarket. And so on.
Triggers can come in a multitude of forms, and often they involve close friends, colleagues and family members.
I haven’t even yet mentioned the triggers brought to you by the media: if you watch the news, a constant flow of worldwide events and politics is brought to your attention, and it is not unlikely that you will get triggered by what is presented to you.
Whether it is any or all of the above, or something totally different, there is a fair chance you will be served triggers this month.
Triggers tell you that things didn’t go as you had expected or wished for.
Triggers aren’t good or bad, they are simply signals.
It is up to you what you do with them.
Do you allow them to get the best of you?
Or can you see them as gold nuggets buried in mud?
Whatever triggers are presented to you in the time ahead, give them a closer look. Whenever you feel upset, disappointed, sad, judgmental or feeling ill-treated, look for the gold nugget offered to you. Yes, even look at the relatively small triggers.
Are you given a chance to let go of expectations?
Is a possibility to do deeper healing brought to your attention?
Can you step out of old patterns, emotions and ways of reacting?
Instead of thinking in terms of something being done to you, unwrap the gift.
The time we are living in is a wild ride.
Take advantage of it.
Enjoy it!
A few suggestions to handle and integrate the influx of high frequency in your body:
- ground yourself
- go out in nature
- drink water
- if possible, refrain from showering and bathing when your cells are vibrating – allow your body time to integrate the new frequency
The last one may come as a surprise. I know that many people will tell you to take a shower or bath. It is what I have done for many years. Until recently, when the insight was given to me that the flow of water takes the energies away.
Which of course is perfect when you want to release negative energy (and emotions). But, it is not helpful when you want to integrate the higher frequencies.
