Being of Service
A channeled message from Sanat Kumara
Sanat Kumara is an ascended master and a member of the Venusian Council of Light. This higher dimensional consciousness is said to have held the light on Earth during the darkest of times. He is assisting us with his teachings in this final phase of the great awakening and the shift of the energies on Earth. In the message below he reaches out to the light workers.
“We are very proud of all light workers. Many of you are nowadays looking for their origins. Realize that it may be nice to know, and then needs to be put aside. Your star lineage origins should not create division. All of you/us stem from the same source and are working together to restore light on the planet. An amazing job has been done already, and you are not quite done yet.
There is much turmoil ahead and we urge all of you to look at the bigger picture at all times. Don’t buy into the drama as it is being served to you. Much of it will be illusion; literally as in watching a movie. And then there are the so-called real events, which happen at a Divine level. This means that all souls taking part in it, have agreed to it.
Yes, even those who will be leaving their third dimensional bodies. They have served to the best of their abilities and are ready to go. Many of them will return to Earth at a later moment in time to take on other roles, which they will not be able to fulfil in their current bodies. Others will assist the ongoing transition process from other realms, as that is where and how they can be of the utmost service.
You, who are staying on Earth will be part of, and will be experiencing, the huge shift. You are so to say the winners of the lottery. You have earned your front row seats with the work you have done, and are doing. And as I said, it is not done yet. There is much more work for all of you ahead. We know that many of you – or should I say us? – are tired. Remember that this is all just temporary inconvenience, which you will later on consider having been worth it.
Apart from other roles, your most important one now, is to stay calm and to be a beacon of light. Difficult times are drawing near for many, and it may become more chaotic.
Do not fear. Trust that you are always where you are most needed and where you can make the biggest difference. Even though you may at times feel lost or at a loss about what to do, you hold all the answers within. Trust your intuition and guidance. Be humble and at service. Both to those who are ready to see and hear, and to those who are not yet.
We know that this is all unfolding much slower than many of you had imagined. We honor you for your resilience and perseverance. Trust that all is in Divine order. Do not get lost in the optics. Serve with compassion and empathy. Know that you have chosen to be in the front lines, and that others have agreed on following.
Some may not awaken in this lifetime, simply because it is too much for them to hold. They too are Divine beings. They just have taken a different route and timing for their way back home.
Judge not.
I repeat: judge not.
There is no need to be praised for the role you took on. All actors in the play are equally important. Just like all people in a company. What would a manager be without a secretary or housekeeper? What is a leader, if no one needs guidance?
Guide with love, compassion and empathy. You are not better than anyone; you simply agreed on playing a different role. Continue to play your role as it was written by you. Indeed, by you. No-one else is responsible. You are the script writer as well as the actor.
All of you together are writing and performing the play. If you are not happy with your role, rewrite it. And do so, with the intention of it being for the highest good for all.
You don’t need servants; you are the servant. You are the one making the difference.
Don’t wait for anyone else to change your life. Take responsibility for it.
Yes, it is a thin line between serving others and allowing them to take their own responsibility. Don’t be part of keeping dependency going. Gently push them towards taking responsibility for their own lives.
But what about people being hungry or ill, you may wonder. We understand that this is possibly hard to digest. Yet, all of them have chosen to be in the situation they are in.
Feel if you are the one, who needs to lend a helping hand. Feel if it is your role to help them in material ways. Is it? Or are you supposed to provide insights? Are you the one, who needs to support them with love, compassion and empathy?
Giving money may seem helpful at times. Yet, is it? Or is it merely the easy way out? Is it you comforting yourself with the idea of having done good? We know, it is an extremely thin line and a rather delicate topic to discuss. We know that many of you love to give. And in certain situations that is just what is needed. Sometimes people need a financial boost to get back on their feet or to support their path. And sometimes people need to go down all the way, to be able to live through their darkest moments and to rise like a phoenix.
When not giving, check your intentions. Are they ego based? Or is it a deep inner knowing that stops you from giving?
And when you give, do you do it from a deep inner knowing that this is what you have to do? Or is it a way to boost or comfort your ego self?
Always give freely from your love, compassion and empathy. Shine your light for the highest good of all. When anything is asked of you, go inside and feel what is right. There are no wrongs. It is all vibration. What may feel right today, may make you wonder another day.
Never look back stating that you have done anything wrong. See it for what it is: the best thing you were capable of doing in that now moment.
With all of this said, there is much giving ahead.
Your attention, love, light, sympathy, compassion and empathy will be called upon. Your hands-on assistance will be called upon. You will be asked to step out of your comfort zone and to set aside all the thoughts and beliefs you hold about what you can or cannot handle.
You are endless strength and endless light power. Have faith in who you are, and what you came here to do. And know that we are with you, assisting all of you. You can always call for our assistance.

This message, channeled in September 2022 has felt valid for the past couple of years, and to me still rings true, both for the time we are living in now, and for the time ahead.
